19th Sept.: MLP & G.R. Championships: a.m. & p.m., Melville:
PLEASE NOTE that this year there is no FORMAL pre-entry but those who reserve “vouchers” to exchange for firing-points will save a significant sum. Turn up on the (PLEASE!) and Tim Read will try to fit in what you want to shoot.
There are courses of fire for PRECISION, TIMED-FIRE, “BOBBER” (turning target) etc………. 25m a.m. and 50 & 25m p.m., hopefully with Advancing Targets. We may well be able to try out the “Standing Supported” course of fire which was successfully launched at the “SMRC Meeting” (the first weekend of the NSRA August Meeting).

3rd Oct: Target Rifle Championships… 3/5/6 a.m. (+ 5/6 p.m. “in case”) + 900/1000 p.m.
Note --- this was announced as “T.R. only” – but several Members have complained that they are in effect excluded --In past years the number of entries for “F Class”, “Standard Rifle” etc have been very few --- certainly not enough to warrant a separate day: if Members who want to see these continue, then they will need to enter them!
PLEASE NOTE that there are (probably) 5 details a.m. and 4 details pm. In which to fit EVERYTHING --- so if you need to shoot several courses you will need (a) to think it through and (b) ensure that you have decided upon priorities if shooting starts late due to fog.
ENTRIES should be sent direct to the Match Organiser (the Club tradition is that the person “won the job” by winning the Club T.R. Championship) in good time (by Sept 19th) so that he can squad people and CANCEL targets which we do not need. (You may bring people from other Clubs to shoot alongside, as long as they complete an Entry Form).
LATE ENTRIES – received after 19th Sept. MAY be accepted if there is target space available: (a) there is a £5 Late Entry Fee (non-returnable) and (b) please ensure that your CONTACT DETAILS are as complete as possible so that we can try to contact you if there are no spaces available. Please note that the Match Organiser may not be opening the late entries until the last minute.

23/24 October: NRA Trafalgar Meeting (SLRC Concurrents)

5th December: SLRC WAPPENSHAW (no range Fee)
Melville– ML pistol & G.R. F.B. Rifle with the VAA @ 100y
Hot Refreshments in the Clubhouse from 1245p.m. --- including the “Presentation of Prizes*”.
